Apple Eight Track

After coming across a copy of Abbey Road on Eight Track at the Flea Market a week or two ago I'm having a listen to my well loved and well played vinyl copy. Note the hand claps in Here Comes the Sun. Now that is a mix! I'm not sure if the new remastered versions of some of this stuff could really be an improvement. I think I would miss the familiar surface noise, pops and clicks. So...how 'bout a copy of Abbey Road on Eight Track Tape? I will be posting it on the Garage Sale very soon. Great retro item. Interesting to see the cover art with the name of the band and the album on the front cover unlike the record with no name on the famous Abbey Road crosswalk cover art.

Hard to pick a favourite but I think that I would have to include the White Album, Abbey Road and Let it Be to be on any desert island list.
